The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Kozuv's (11-14) road loss to fourth ranked Kumanovo 2009 (18-8) 80-86 on Saturday. Kumanovo 2009 looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Serbian center Nenad Misanovic (217-84) who scored 21 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). International swingman Marko Simonovski (191-89, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 20 points. International forward Vladimir Brckov (200-89, agency: Beo Basket) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and international forward Stojan Gjuroski (203-91, college: Louisiana Tech) added 14 points respectively for the guests. Five Kumanovo 2009 and four Kozuv players scored in double figures. Kumanovo 2009 have a solid three-game winning streak. Kumanovo 2009 moved-up to third place. Loser Kozuv keeps the fifth position with 14 games lost. Kumanovo 2009 will meet at home league's leader MZT Skopje in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
