Helsinki Seagulls cruised past visiting Pyrinto to even the series at 1-1. The game was mostly controlled by Helsinki Seagulls. Tampereen Pyrinto was better in fourth quarter 20-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Helsinki Seagulls made 17-of-20 charity shots (85.0 percent) during the game. American guard James Sinclair (190-93, college: W.Carolina, agency: Two Points) orchestrated the victory by scoring 29 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import forward Terrence Watson (200-87, college: Ball St., agency: HMS) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. American forward Damon Williams (201-73, college: Colorado St.-Pueblo, agency: Two Points) replied with 16 points and 6 rebounds and international point guard Antero Lehto (185-84) added 9 points in the effort for Tampereen Pyrinto. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
