Houthalen overcame Gent Hawks to sweep the quarterfinal series. Gent Hawks were trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 32-17 charge of Houthalen, which allowed them to win the game. They made 16-of-17 free shots (94.1 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Naturalized American guard Ronnie McCollum (192-78, college: Centenary, LA) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Darnell Snyers (181-98) contributed with 20 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Houthalen players scored in double figures. Houthalen's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Gregory De Pooter (195-84) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds and forward Joao-Pedro De Decker (198-83) added 21 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Gent Hawks.
