Brasilia overcame Paulistano for 1-0 lead. It looked good early as Paulistano took a 12-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Brasilia took control getting tie in the second period and winning the second half and eventually winning the game that evening by 5 points. Brasilia made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Paulistano was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. International Guilherme Giovannoni (203-80) nailed 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and Pilar Alves (201-84) accounted for 14 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Arthur Pecos (183-95) came up with 11 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international point guard Valtinho Silva (187-77) added 14 points and 6 assists respectively for Paulistano in the defeat. Five Paulistano players scored in double figures. Paulistano's coach Gustavo Conti rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
