Semi-Finals Game 1: Wisla Krakow - Sleza Wroclaw 65-63

Wisla snatched a narrow win over Sleza Wroclaw in Krakow to take the lead in the semifinal series. It looked good early as Sleza Wroclaw took a 2-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Wisla Krakow had a 21-18 second period charge getting the lead and Sleza Wroclaw was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 63-65. Wisla Krakow dominated on the defensive end, holding Sleza Wroclaw to just 6 points in third quarter. American guard Yvonne Turner (176-87, college: Nebraska) stepped up and scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and the former international forward Justyna Cegielska (188-85) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side American point guard Sharnee Zoll-Norman (170-86, college: Virginia) responded with 8 points and 9 assists and Filipino-American center Chay Shegog (196-90, college: N.Carolina) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds.
