There was no surprise in Bilbao where 13th ranked Sevilla (11-17) was outplayed by tenth ranked Dominion BB (14-14) 101-82 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Dominion BB. Sevilla managed to win fourth quarter 25-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Sevilla 34-23 including 21 on the defensive glass. The former international point guard Raul Lopez (182-80) fired 18 points and 5 assists for the winners. The former international forward Alex Mumbru (202-79, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 19 points. Five Dominion BB players scored in double figures. Slovenian Bostjan Nachbar (206-80) produced 14 points and Jamaican center Jerome Jordan (215-86, college: Tulsa, agency: Priority Sports) added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Dominion BB moved-up to eighth place. Loser Sevilla dropped to the eleventh position with 17 games lost. They share it with FIATC Joventut and Andorra. Dominion BB will meet FIATC Joventut (#12) in the next round. Sevilla will play against Movil Estudiantes and hope to secure a win.
