Saarlouis were plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Naturalized American swingman Elijah Allen (195-89, college: NW Missouri St.) scored 34 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Marian Schick (204-86) chipped in 16 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Licher Basket's coach Joan Rallo-Fernandez used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Ricky Easterling (188-83, college: Bridgewater) responded with 32 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import forward Brennan McElroy (201-91, college: Indianapolis) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 14 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
