The game without a history. San Pietro led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. San Pietro forced 20 Castellammare turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Mariella Santucci (178-97) who helped to win the game recording 20 points. Forward Carlotta Gianolla (181-97) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four San Pietro players scored in double figures. San Pietro's coach Paolo Seletti used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Greta Brunelli (176-90) answered with 15 points and Latvian forward Liga Vente (191-91, college: Eckerd) added 7 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Castellammare.
