Quarter-Finals Round 4: GKS Tychy - Znicz Basket 93-82

GKS Tychy beat visiting Znicz Basket to seal their semifinal appearance. GKS Tychy players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The winners were led by Marek Piechowicz (201-88) who scored that evening 14 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and point guard Karol Szpyrka (182-87) supported him with 12 points and 6 assists. Four GKS Tychy players scored in double figures. Even 23 points (made all of his seven free throws) by swingman Damian Janiak (195-89) did not help to save the game for Znicz Basket. Center Dawid Slupinski (206-92) added 22 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
