Kara Trutnov thumped Sokol Hradec Kralove to take the lead in the consolation finals. The game without a history. Kara Trutnov led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Sokol Hradec Kralove to just 4 points in third quarter. Kara Trutnov held Sokol Hradec Kralove to an opponent 19.4 percent shooting from the field compared to 42.6 percent accuracy of the winners. Center Lenka Pazderova (188-84) stepped up and scored 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and forward Andrea Ovsikova (178-89) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Four Kara Trutnov players scored in double figures. At the losing side the former international forward Katerina Krizova (186-80) responded with 5 points and 8 rebounds and Croatian center Josipa Bura (186-85, agency: IPSA) scored 6 points and 10 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
