Regular Season Round 27: Karpos Sokoli - Feni Industries 92-70

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Skopje. Second ranked Karpos Sokoli faced 4th placed Feni Industries. Host Karpos Sokoli (20-7) smashed guests from Kavadarci (17-10) 92-70. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 92-70. Karpos Sokoli outrebounded Feni Industries 39-26 including a 31-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Serbian guard Marko Boltic (193-87, agency: 011 Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals. American guard Michael Snaer (196-89, college: Florida St.) helped adding 18 points. Five Karpos Sokoli players scored in double figures. Karpos Sokoli's coach Sinisa Matic felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was point guard Boban Stajic (185-93) with 21 points and the former international power forward Kiril Nikolovski (210-88) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. Karpos Sokoli have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 20-7 record having just two points less than leader MZT Skopje. Feni Industries at the other side keep the fourth position with ten games lost. Karpos Sokoli's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Skopje to the arena MZT Skopje.
