Date: April 20, 2016
The game in Strumica supposed to be also worth to mention about. Sixth ranked Rabotnicki (11-16) played at the court of 7th ranked Strumica (5-22). Rabotnicki did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 83-63. The game was mostly controlled by Rabotnicki. Strumica was better in third quarter 19-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was an exceptional evening for the former international point guard Dimitar Mirakovski (177-81, agency: Interperformances) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international Gjorgi Cekovski (203-79) accounted for 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Four Rabotnicki players scored in double figures. Naturalized Bulgarian power forward Tomcho Sokolov (205-84, agency: Global Sports Plaza) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and Serbian forward Milos Andrejevic (198-89) added 17 points respectively for Strumica in the defeat. Strumica's coach rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Rabotnicki maintains sixth place with 11-16 record. Strumica at the other side keeps the seventh position with 22 games lost. Rabotnicki's next round opponent will be higher ranked Kozuv (#5) in Gevgelija and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Strumica will play on the road against Feni Industries in Kavadarci and hope to win that game.
