Catz snatched a narrow road win over HyPo to gain 2-0 lead in the championship series. HyPo was trailing by 10 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 22-19 charge of Catz Lappeenranta, which allowed them to win the game. They made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by HyPo helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Jennifer Schlott (168-91, college: Utah St., agency: LBM Management) scored 28 points to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import power forward Chandra Harris (185-89, college: Georgia St.) chipped in 20 points and 11 rebounds during the contest.
