Palermo thumped Bologna at home court to even the series at 1-1. The game without a history. Palermo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Bologna to just 4 points in fourth quarter and to 11 points in second half. Palermo held Bologna to an opponent 24.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 42.4 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Bologna 42-26 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was point guard Elettra Ferretti (175-93) who scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Giulia Manzotti (176-93) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. Four Palermo players scored in double figures. Palermo's coach Piero Musumeci felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Chiara Cadoni (182-94) produced 7 points and 6 rebounds and forward Lucia Morsiani (185-92) added 6 points respectively for the guests.
