Quarter-Finals Round 4: Toros - Guaros 98-88

Toros snapped three-game losing skid and beat Guaros to cut the deficit in the series. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 98-88. Toros dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Guaros' 44 and made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Heberth Bayona (210-78, college: St.Francis, NY) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and Dominican guard Kelvin Pena (193-80, college: Southeastern CC) who added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Five Toros players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Damien Wilkins (198-80, college: Georgia, agency: Priority Sports) responded with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) and his fellow American import guard Tyshawn Taylor (191-90, college: Kansas) scored 23 points.
