Quarter-Finals Round 3: TU/Rock - TTU 107-73

The game was mostly controlled by TU/Rock. TTU was better in third quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. TU/Rock shot the lights out from three nailing 17 long-distance shots on high 54.8 percentage. 25 personal fouls committed by TTU helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for Canadian-Lithuanian point guard Evaldas Zabas (188-88) who led his team to a victory with 42 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Lithuanian center Karolis Petrukonis (212-87, college: Clemson) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. The former international forward Kristjan Kitsing (205-90, agency: Octagon Europe) answered with 24 points and 8 rebounds and international point guard Rait-Riivo Laane (179-93) added 18 points and 5 assists in the effort for TTU. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
