Burgos nipped Ourense to secure 1-0 lead in the series. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 16-11 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Burgos dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Ourense's 24. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian center Matija Poscic (206-85, college: De Paul) who helped to win the game recording 8 points and 5 rebounds. Poscic is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.
