Quarter-Finals Round 5: Toros - Guaros 79-91

Guaros rallied past Toros to secure their semifinal birth. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 15-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 91-79. The best player for the winners was American forward Andre Emmett (196-82, college: Texas Tech) who scored 27 points and 4 assists. Nestor Colmenares (203-87, college: Campbellsville, agency: Pro Sports) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds. Four Guaros players scored in double figures. Dominican guard Kelvin Pena (193-80, college: Southeastern CC) produced 24 points and 4 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and guard Edwin Mijares (186-94) added 14 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
