Finals Game 3: Good Angels - Piestanske C. 84-74

Good Angels marched past Piestanske Cajky to defend their Extraliga title. The game was mostly controlled by Good Angels. Piestanske C. was better in third quarter 18-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Good Angels forced 20 Piestanske C. turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a great evening for the former international center Anna Jurcenkova (195-85) who led her team to a victory scoring 24 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). Slovenian point guard Teja Oblak (172-90) helped adding 16 points and 8 assists. The best for the losing side was the former international swingman Terezia Palenikova (178-95) with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Monica Engelman (180-91, college: Kansas) scored 18 points. Piestanske C.'s coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
