Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked AZS Koszalin (13-19) lost at home to fifth ranked Energa Czarni (23-9) 89-75 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Energa Czarni. AZS Koszalin was better in third quarter 32-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded AZS Koszalin 39-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. AZS Koszalin was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American swingman Demonte Harper (193-89, college: Morehead St.) who led his team to a victory with 27 points and 6 rebounds. The other American import power forward Justin Jackson (204-90, college: Cincinnati) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 16 rebounds and 5 blocks for the winners. American point guard A.J. Walton (184-90, college: Baylor) replied with 17 points, 6 assists and 5 steals and Czech center Adam Pechacek (207-95) added 18 points and 5 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) in the effort for AZS Koszalin. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. AZS Koszalin's coach Kamil Sadowski tested ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Energa Czarni have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 23-9 record. AZS Koszalin lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 19 games lost.
