Finals Game 4: Snaefell - Haukar 75-55

Snaefell defeated Haukar at home court to even the championship series at 2-2. The game without a history. Snaefell led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Snaefell forced 20 Haukar turnovers. Strangely Haukar outrebounded Snaefell 46-32 including 18 on the offensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Snaefell made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Haiden Palmer (173-91, college: Gonzaga, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording 35 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international forward Bryndis Gudmundsdottir (178-88) who added 12 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side the former international swingman Helena Sverrisdottir (184-88, college: TCU) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Maria Sigurdardottir (178-89) scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. Haukar's coach Ingvar Thor Gudjonsson rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win.
