Quarter-Finals Round 2: Torino - Lucca 47-68

Lucca fired past Torino to complete the sweep. Lucca led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Torino's 18. Lucca forced 31 Torino turnovers and outrebounded them 33-22 including 22 on the defensive glass. American swingman Julie Wojta (183-89, college: Green Bay, agency: LBM Management) scored 18 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Kayla Pedersen (193-89, college: Stanford, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Lucca's coach Mirco Diamanti felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Yvonne Anderson (170-90, college: Texas, agency: Two Points) responded with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Greek forward Katerina Sotiriou (186-84, agency: Josep and Nicolas) scored 9 points.
