Quarter-Finals Round 7: Bucaneros - Guaiqueries 72-65

Bucaneros held off Guaiqueries at home to win the series 4-3. It looked good early as Guaiqueries took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Bucaneros had a 23-19 second period charge getting the lead and Guaiqueries were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 65-72. It was an exceptional evening for American swingman Justin Carter (193-87, college: Creighton, agency: Pensack Sports) who led the winners and scored 23 points. American-Lebanese power forward Jarrid Famous (209-88, college: S.Florida) accounted for 12 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side. Four Bucaneros players scored in double figures. Guard Jezreel De Jesus (185-91) came up with 22 points and American center Dwayne Jones (211-83, college: St.Joseph's) added 8 points and 13 rebounds respectively for Guaiqueries in the defeat.
