Very important is a home loss of second ranked Caciques (16-14) against tenth ranked Leones (14-16) on Monday night. Host Caciques were defeated by Leones in a tough game in Humacao 57-61. The guests trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 22-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American power forward Denzel Bowles (208-89, college: JMU) scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Devin Ebanks (206-89, college: W.Virginia, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 6 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Leones' coach Nelson Colon used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American forward Brandon Costner (206-87, college: N.Carolina St.) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and Dominican forward Jack Michael Martinez (201-81) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds.
