Finals Game 5: Stevnsgade - Virum 61-66

Virum celebrated Dameligaen title. They rallied past Stevnsgade on the road in the decider to win the championship series 3-2. Stevnsgade was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Virum dominated on the defensive end, holding Stevnsgade to just 7 points in fourth quarter. They made 20-of-21 free shots (95.2 percent) during the game, while Stevnsgade only scored four points from the stripe. They outrebounded Stevnsgade 39-21 including 26 on the defensive glass. Forward Nikoline Oestergaard (183-92, college: Quinnipiac) orchestrated the victory by scoring 29 points. American center Val Driscoll (193-92, college: Quinnipiac) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 19 rebounds for the winners. International guard Ida Pretzmann (178-90, college: TCU) answered with 14 points and 4 assists and international guard Maja Gerlyng-Hansen (180-88, college: Siena) added 11 points in the effort for Stevnsgade.
