Al Riyadi cruised past Louaize away from home and advanced into the semifinal stage. The game without a history. Al Riyadi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Al Riyadi outrebounded Louaize 47-25 including a 35-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for the former international swingman Fadi Khatib (199-79) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 5 rebounds. American center Chris Daniels (212-84, college: Texas A&M-CC) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Al Riyadi's coach Slobodan Subotic allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Alex Okafor (202-87, college: Princeton) replied with 17 points and his fellow American import center Wendell Lewis (208-89, college: Alabama St.) added 8 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Louaize.
