AEK Athens completed the A1 semifinals line up. They beat PAOK in the decisive third game of the quarterfinal series to stay in the title race. AEK Athens led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. AEK Athens outrebounded PAOK 46-30 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by PAOK helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international center Dimitrios Mavroeidis (208-85, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. Bosnian forward Milan Milosevic (203-85, agency: BeoExcell) helped adding 8 points and 6 rebounds. AEK Athens' coach Jure Zdovc used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
