Semi-Finals Game 1: CEZ Nymburk - BK Pardubice 98-68

CEZ Nymburk cruised past BK Pardubice in the opener. It looked good early as BK Pardubice took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then CEZ Nymburk had a 38-7 second period charge getting the lead and BK Pardubice was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 68-98. CEZ Nymburk dominated on the defensive end, holding BK Pardubice to just 7 points in second quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to BK Pardubice's 28. CEZ Nymburk forced 23 BK Pardubice turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. BK Pardubice was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Cuban swingman Howard Sant-Roos (200-91) nailed 18 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and American guard Michael Dixon (186-90, college: Memphis) accounted for 14 points and 11 assists. Four CEZ Nymburk players scored in double figures. The former international forward Radek Necas (206-80) came up with 7 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Josef Potocek (196-96) added 13 points respectively for BK Pardubice in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
