USK Praha claimed the sixth straight ZBL title. They rallied past Nymburk to sweep the championship series. The game without a history. USK Praha led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held Basketball Nymburk to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 34.8 percent accuracy of the winners and made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game. USK Praha outrebounded Basketball Nymburk 43-31 including 17 on the offensive glass. It was a good game for Spanish point guard Marta Xargay Casademont (181-90) who led her team to a victory with 13 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. American power forward Kia Vaughn (193-87, college: Rutgers) contributed with 10 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four USK Praha players scored in double figures. American forward Jessica Kuster (188-92, college: Rice) answered with 6 points and 8 rebounds and Russian-Ukrainian center Aleksandra Khomenchuk (202-89) added 9 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Basketball Nymburk. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
