Avila thumped Clinican Rincon on the road to surge ahead in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Fontedoso Carrefour. Clinicas Rincon was better in fourth quarter 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a quality performance for point guard Alvaro Lobo (192-92, agency: Duran International) who led the winners and scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Jose Jimenez (197-96) accounted for 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Lobo is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Fontedoso Carrefour players scored in double figures. Congolese forward Judicael Belemene (205-97) came up with 15 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian power forward Kenan Karahodzic (209-96) added 13 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Clinicas Rincon in the defeat.
