Torun outlasted Energa Czarni to even the quarterfinal series at 1-1. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 42-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Twarde Pierniki made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Energa Czarni turnovers and outrebounded them 39-24 including 16 on the offensive glass. American point guard Danny Gibson (177-84, college: S.Indiana) scored 23 points to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Krzysztof Sulima (202-90) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds during the contest.
