Neuchatel outgunned Geneve Lions in the semifinal series opener. The guests trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 24-11 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Senegalese power forward Babacar Toure (205-85) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and American power forward James Mathis (200-84, college: Niagara, agency: Court Side) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds. Five Neuchatel players scored in double figures. At the losing side American point guard Justin Ingram (189-85, college: Toledo, agency: Two Points) responded with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Markel Humphrey (198-86, college: Marshall, agency: Three Eye Sports) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds.
