The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Brisbane Capitals as it allowed them to take a leadership position in League. Bundaberg Bulls will play next round against Maroochydore Clippers trying to get back on the winning streak. Brisbane Capitals will try to continue on its current victory against twelfth ranked Sunshine CR on the road.
