Balkan outgunned Levski 2014 to win the series 2-0. Balkan outrebounded Levski 2014 54-42 including 17 on the offensive glass. 27 personal fouls committed by Levski 2014 helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was the former international center Nikolay Varbanov (209-85, agency: Interperformances) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. American guard Brandon Fortenberry (190-90, college: SE Louisiana, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 24 points and 5 rebounds. Balkan's coach Nebojsa Vidic used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Aleks Simeonov (200-93) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Evgeni Hadjirusev (193-95) added 25 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 11-for-11 from the free throw line !!!) respectively for the hosts. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.
