Familia Schio outgunned Ragusa in the opener. The game without a history. Familia Schio led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Familia Schio outrebounded Ragusa 36-21 including a 26-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for American power forward Ashley Walker (187-87, college: California, agency: Merit Management Group) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 7 rebounds. French center Isabelle Yacoubou (190-86, agency: Comsport) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Familia Schio's coach Miguel Mendez used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American swingman Camille Little (188-85, college: N.Carolina) answered with 23 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import power forward Rebekkah Brunson (191-81, college: Georgetown, agency: LBM Management) added 13 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Ragusa.
