Quarter-Finals Round 1: La Spezia - Bologna 64-61

La Spezia topped Bologna to gain 1-0 lead in the series. Bologna was trailing by 14 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 14-9 charge of La Spezia, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 20 Bologna turnovers. Latvian power forward Lauma Reke (185-86, college: St.Peter's) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Valentina Costa (168-84) chipped in 11 points. Power forward Chiara Cadoni (182-94) produced 16 points and 9 rebounds and guard Chiara Mini (165-86) added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side.
