Araski AES sealed their Liga Feminina promotion after they knocked down Sant Adria. Araski AES made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Araski AES had a 27-13 advantage in offensive rebounds. American-Nigerian swingman Kathleen Iwuoha (180-93, college: CS Fullerton) stepped up and scored 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and American center Nicole Griffin (198-91, college: Oklahoma) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Five Araski AES players scored in double figures. At the losing side power forward Marta Claret (185-92) responded with 15 points and Ainhoa Lopez (180-97) scored 5 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
