Semi-Finals Game 2: TLU/Kalev - TU/Rock 74-97

TU/Rock fired past TLU/Kalev for the second straight win in the series. It looked good early as TLU/Kalev took a 4-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then TU/Rock had a 26-14 second period charge getting the lead and TLU/Kalev was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 74-97. TU/Rock made 20-of-23 charity shots (87.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded TLU/Kalev 40-24 including 27 on the defensive glass. TLU/Kalev was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international Janar Talts (205-83) notched a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and Canadian-Lithuanian point guard Evaldas Zabas (188-88) supported him with 22 points. Four TU/Rock players scored in double figures. Even 19 points by Canadian guard Johnny Berhanemeskel (188-92, agency: Two Points) did not help to save the game for TLU/Kalev. American guard Tom Droney (197-91, college: Davidson, agency: Octagon Europe) added 8 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
