Amicale fend off Musel Pikes for the opening victory in Total League Finals. The game without a history. Amicale led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Amicale outrebounded Musel Pikes 51-29 including a 34-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. The former international power forward Billy McDaniel (199-84, college: Ark.-Monticello, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) fired a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 18 rebounds for the winners. International guard Bob Melcher (189-94) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists. Four Amicale players scored in double figures. American swingman Jarmar Gulley (196-91, college: Missouri St., agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) produced 25 points and 6 rebounds and the former international Christophe Donnersbach (195-84) added 9 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side.
