Lattes Montpellier cruised past Charleville in the opening game of the semifinal series. The game was mostly controlled by Lattes Montpellier. Charleville-Mez. was better in third quarter 19-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. International guard Gaelle Skrela (177-83, agency: Josep and Nicolas) nailed 12 points for the winning side and international forward Valerianne Ayayi (185-94, agency: Comsport) accounted for 10 points and 5 rebounds. Five Lattes Montpellier players scored in double figures. Lattes Montpellier's coach Valery Demory felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Amel Bouderra (160-89) came up with 8 points and 5 assists and Ukrainian center Valeriya Berezhynska (193-86, college: Rice, agency: Josep and Nicolas) added 10 points respectively for Charleville-Mez. in the defeat.
