Semi-Finals Game 2: Landes - Lyon 83-72

The game was mostly controlled by Basket Landes. Lyon managed to win third quarter 22-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Basket Landes dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Lyon's 22. Basket Landes forced 20 Lyon turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was Canadian power forward Miranda Ayim (191-88, college: Pepperdine) who scored 20 points. Croatian center Iva Sliskovic (190-84, college: S.Carolina) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds. Naturalized Ivorian guard Esther Niamke (165-93, college: Louisville) produced 19 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and Serbian Dajana Butulija (176-86, agency: Beo Basket) added 20 points and 4 steals respectively for the guests.
