Caen looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Lourdes-Tarbes helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Serbian-Montenegrin center Nemanja Calasan (204-85, college: Purdue) fired a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners. American forward Bill Clark (196-88, college: Duquesne, agency: HMS) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Caen's coach Herve Coudray used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Jamaican forward Ricardo Alliman (201-87, college: Cedarville) produced 16 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Lithuanian forward Darius Tarvydas (200-91) added 19 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side.
