Tortona stepped closer to the quarterfinal stage following a tough road win over Trieste. Tortona made 19-of-25 charity shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Trieste was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American point guard Derrick Marks (190-93, college: Boise St.) who led his team to a victory with 28 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import forward DeMon Brooks (202-92, college: Davidson) contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American forward Jordan Parks (201-94, college: N.C.Central, agency: Two Points) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and international point guard Stefano Bossi (185-94, agency: Players Group) added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Trieste. Trieste's coach Eugenio Dalmasson rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
