Semi-Finals Game 3: Neuchatel - Geneve Lions 89-64

Date: May 7, 2016
Neuchatel cruised past Geneve Lions at home court to complete the sweep of the series. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 89-64. Neuchatel made 28-of-36 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game, while Geneve Lions only scored ten points from the stripe. 30 personal fouls committed by Geneve Lions helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for Senegalese power forward Babacar Toure (205-85) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds. American guard Tony Brown (193-79, college: Arkansas St.) helped adding 21 points. Four Neuchatel players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Markel Humphrey (198-86, college: Marshall, agency: Three Eye Sports) with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds and the former international swingman Dusan Mladjan (198-86) scored 19 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
