Quarter-Finals Round 3: Falconara - Ortona 96-71

Falconara cruised past Ortona to reach Group D semis. Falconara made 30-of-32 free shots (93.8 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Falconara especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Worth to mention a quality performance of naturalized Serbian power forward Marko Micevic (201-89) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 9 rebounds. The former international point guard Fabio Ruini (185-80) helped adding 17 points and 6 assists (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!). Five Falconara players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was naturalized Argentinian point guard Victorio Gustavo Musso (185-84) with 20 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and naturalized American swingman Xavier Brown (195-91, agency: SPORTlab Agency) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
