Toyama Grouses knocked down Iwate to advance into Final Four. Toyama Grouses led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 35-of-44 free shots (79.5 percent) during the game, while Iwate Big Bulls only scored ten points from the stripe. They outrebounded Iwate Big Bulls 43-23 including 29 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American Drew Viney (204-88, college: Loyola Mary) who scored 20 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Joho Masashi (183-82) chipped in 19 points. American forward Patrick Sanders (201-85, college: Cal-Irvine, agency: Interperformances) produced 15 points and 7 rebounds and Nigerian forward Abdullahi Kuso (206-84, college: Tallahassee CC) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
