Semi-Finals Game 3: Flamengo - Mogi 77-83

Mogi das Cruzes topped Flamengo on the road to gain 2-1 lead in the series. Flamengo was trailing by 6 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 22-15 charge of Mogi, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for naturalized American Shamell Stallworth (195-80, college: USF, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. American forward Tyrone Curnell (203-88, college: Valdosta St.) helped adding 22 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was the former international Marquinhos Vieira (207-84) with 25 points and the former international forward Olivinha Rodriguez (203-83) scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
