Entente Orleans 45 (#11) forced the game against Pau-Lacq-Orthez (#9) into an overtime, but lost by three points 82-85. The game took place in Orleans. But the guests from Pau were better at the end. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Entente Orleans 45. Entente Orleans 45 was tied at the half and again at the end of regular time. But they could not keep up in overtime eventually losing that period 6-9. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Steven Smith (203-83, college: La Salle) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. The other American import point guard Michael Thompson (177-89, college: Northwestern) contributed with 21 points and 6 assists for the winners. Four Pau-Lacq-Orthez players scored in double figures. American Chevon Troutman (202-81, college: Pittsburgh, agency: Beo Basket) replied with 18 points and 8 rebounds and the former international guard Antoine Eito (186-88) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Entente Orleans 45. Pau-Lacq-Orthez (21-13) moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Entente Orleans 45 at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 17 games lost.
