Aalstar fired past Mons-Hainaut to secure the winning start to their playoff campaign. Belfius Mons-Hainaut was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. American point guard Jerime Anderson (187-89, college: UCLA) stepped up and scored 26 points and 4 assists for the winners and his fellow American import point guard Kyan Anderson (180-92, college: TCU, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 21 points and 5 assists. At the losing side the former international center Amaury Gorgemans (212-92) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds and the former international point guard Lionel Bosco (175-81, agency: Court Side) scored 14 points and 6 assists. Four Okapi Aalstar and five Belfius Mons-Hainaut players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
