CEZ nymburk outgunned BK Pardubice to seal their NBL Finals appearance. CEZ Nymburk made 21-of-25 charity shots (84.0 percent) during the game. BK Pardubice was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for the former international Jiri Welsch (199-80) who led the winners and scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international center Petr Benda (203-82) accounted for 19 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) for the winning side. American forward Joseph Wall (200-89, college: Seattle Pacific) came up with 14 points and 6 rebounds and Slovakian Dusan Pandula (196-84) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for BK Pardubice in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
